POSH 5mm Synthetic Rope - 8m+ hank

POSH is a synthetic alternative to jute rope.  It comes close in appearance and tooth to the real thing while being much stronger with an estimated rating of 770lbs - still more than twice that of most 6mm jute!  P.O.S.H. is very popular as a safer choice for suspension lines as well as other rigging applications such as hanging suspension bamboo or a ring.  We make this 5mm POSH available since many experienced rope tops and riggers find that it ties lighter and faster than the 6mm version.

Originally designed for marine use, this rope will not be damaged when used in water.*

This listing is for a single 8+ meter hank (the most common length traditionally used in Japan, for what it's worth) of 5mm POSH rope finished with knotted ends.  POSH rope is known to shrink when not under tension, so these lengths are measured at 28' when cut so that they will remain as long as advertised when stored or relaxed.

*As with any dyed rope, while there are typically no issues, we cannot guarantee colorfastness of rope when interacting with swimming pool chemicals.
