Floating Hashira Shibari Bamboo

Shibari grade 2.5"- 3.5" diameter floating hashira bamboo by The Flaming Bamboo Company. 

As floating hashira ties become increasingly popular, we wanted to offer bamboo specifically for that purpose.  The 2.5" - 3.5" diameter range is great for this - not as cumbersome or unwieldy as a suspension pole, yet larger than a typical predicament pole with enough diameter to support the vertical(ish) load of securing the bamboo to another hard point.

THIS POLE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR A HORIZONTAL SUSPENSION POLE.  THE MINIMUM RECOMMENDED DIAMETER FOR SUSPENSION IS 3.5"!

These premium bamboo poles are hand selected from the strongest of priority bamboo species, cut node-to-node, and flame cured with precision to create the finest bamboo suspension poles possible. 

Since bamboo is a natural material, the diameter is approximate and may vary by a few inches from the selected length. Bamboo also grows with a slight taper, so there may be a difference in diameter from end-to-end.

*Please note that due to oversized freight costs, 8’ poles will be a maximum of 90” to accommodate for packaging without exceeding the oversized package threshold.  If you require a pole longer than 90”, please contact us to discuss freight costs prior to ordering  

This product ships to you directly from The Flaming Bamboo Company and is currently taking approximately three weeks processing time as these shibari-grade poles are typically harvested and cured to order.
We also try to keep a small inventory on hand at our North Texas location which may be available for local delivery. Please contact us prior to purchase if you are local to DFW.
