Open loop climbing slings, aka "runners," are a strong, simple, and efficient way to setup a hardpoint. Whether you're hooking up your rigging plate or shibari ring, or using one on each end to hang a piece of bamboo, these slings won't let you down.
CMI manufactures these runners out of 1" tubular nylon webbing and they are rated at 6,500lbs of strength. The 1" width is wider than most other sling brands, providing extra protection against abrasion - useful when rigging on natural or irregular hard points. Available lengths and colors are listed.
For those into aesthetics, the purple sling coordinates quite nicely with the purple AustriAlpin Rondo carabiner.
