Petzl ANGE L carabiner

Petzl's ANGE L is the next step up for those who prefer wire gate carabiners for shibari.  Many folks like wire gate carabiners because they are non-locking and allow uplines to be quickly clipped in rather than pulled through.  The biggest compromise is that wire gate carabiners typically have a hooked nose that can potentially catch on your rope.

The ANGE L has a keylock nose that won't hang on your rope and uses a small single rod in place of the typical wire closure.  We offer this carabiner because it combines the clip-in functionality of a wire gate with the benefits of a key lock closure.
